Christmas in spain

·The day 22 of december is a day that points

out the beginning of the Christmas
·The night of December 24 it is known in Spain like "Christmas Eve."
A Christmas habit is the Christmas gift (aguinaldo). The day of Christmas Eve, children's groups go to their neighborhood's houses and they sang songs in exchange for gifts
El día de los Inocentes (28 de diciembre), que recuerda la matanza de niños cometida por el rey Herodes en Judea.

The last day of the year the New Year's Eve takes place, after having dinner, at 12 o'clock on the dot of the night, millions of Spaniards eat the grapes of the luck while the big clocks of the cities and towns give the twelve strokes of a bell. Everybody takes a grape grain for each stroke of a bell.

The night of January 5, after going to the Three Wise men's Cavalcade, all the children leave their shoes in a visible place of the house, and they retire to sleep with the illusion of to wake up and to discover the gifts that Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar have left them. To have breakfast, or after eating, the family takes the typical candy of this day: "Reyes' roscón"
